Bill: Military Personnel Reform Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: The Liberal Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 2585
Description[?]:
This bill will: 1) Establish a "don't ask, don't tell policy" in the military. *The last time we proposed this bill, we raised the issue that even though we agree with the "don't ask, don't tell" policy, we do not like th wording of the bill. The word "tolerated" should be replaced by "optional." Since we cannot change the wording of the bill, we want to make it binding by the statement above. |
