MessageWe thank your legislature for considering this proposal.

However we feel that we must respond to suggestions that this threatens the sovereignty of Telamon. If the Treaty is looked at, one would clearly be able to see that this is entirely concerned with Trade. Article Nine clearly states that “This Agreement entails no social or political obligations, just an economic commitment to reducing tariffs and advancing free trade”. It allows for reciprocal tariffs, but asks that a nation does not take the initiative in restricting trade. One cannot see how this Treaty threatens sovereignty, it has been carefully worded so that it cannot be abused, and can only be concerned with trade.

Senator Mike Miller, Foreign Minister, Independent Federation of Dolgaria.

MessageEven though I will encourage Telamon to pass this treaty, I know it will be similar to what happen to our free trade agreement. I advice Senator Miller to save his words for someone who actually listens. The TNP blocked the free trade agreement with my country claiming the same "violation of our sovereignty" thought. This free trade agreeement, which is very similar to the one we considered before, can finally allow Telamon and Lodamun to have free trade.
