Bill: The Trigunia First Foreign Policy Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Family and Tradition Party (disbanded)
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 2586
Description[?]:
The Family First Party believes that it is important that we always keep Trigunia's national interests at heart in foreign policy, first and foremost, and before the domestic interests of other countries. It is therefore necessary to have the interests of our domestic industries and businesses at heart when considering trade policy, and foreign investments. We need to protect Trigunia's industries from predator multi-national companies, with whom our businesses may have no hope of competing with. It is also important that we spend tax-revenue exclusively on Trigunia's domestic issues - tax-payers have no obligation to foreign countries, and should not be expected to pay for extensive aid programs when they should see their money spent on improving our domestic situations. Trigunia must always come first. |
