Voting deadline: May 2115

Description[?]:

We wish to help those in need from foriegn countries, but propose that only those from extreme circumstances be allowed refuge in Kanjor. All others can apply for immigration status or go to one of the nineteen countries that accept refugees regardless of their reason.

We ask also, however, any refugees we do accept still be given aid in integrating them into the country.

MessageWe will support this. It doesn't make sense to call someone a refugee "regardless of their reason."

MessageYes, and we will still welcome many people when their situation absolutely calls for it. Otherwise they can apply for immigration status or go to another country. Nineteen countries accept refugees "regardless of their reason."

Random fact: Moderation will not accept Cultural Protocol updates which introduce, on a significant scale, cultures which are likely to be insufficiently accessible to players. In particular, for all significant cultures in Particracy, it should be easy for players to access and use online resources to assist with language translation and the generation of character names. Moderation reserves the right to amend Cultural Protocols which are deemed to have introduced significant cultures that are not sufficiently accessible and which are not being actively role-played with.

Random quote: "Hatred is not, and should never be considered as another form of freedom of expression." - Icarion Dadhelus, former Selucian politician
