Bill: Transport Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: National Labor Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 2587

Description[?]:

Current legislation makes transport far too difficult. Whilst it is known that regular petrol cars cause pollution, hybrid cars do not. So, Malivia Left suggests we adopt a system where cars are only allowed if they are hybrid. Malivia Left does not believe it is fair that at present, cars are illegal, and the only mode of transport, public transport, is not free.

MessageWhile we support Article One, we do not support article two. Any needless expenditures, however small, should not be encouraged. The state pays for those who cannot afford it, those who can must support themselves.

MessageWhile I support both articles, if it means that article one can pass, then I would prefer to drop article two for a later date.

MessageOOC: is it possible to remove certain articles from a proposal, or does an entirely new bill need to be made?
IC: Malivia Left will definitely remove Article Two from this bill, if the other parties continue to show support for Article One.
