Message | As trade unions are currently illegal, The Social Democrats believe that the next best alternative is for the government to regulate daily working hours. This will mean that there are uniform hours across the country, which will assist businesses, as well as give workers more of a say in working hours, because at the moment they have none, which could lead to abuse by socially irresponsible employers. |
Date | 07:31:45, June 05, 2008 CET | From | Supporters of Science in Design (IP) | To | Debating the Labour Day Act |
Message | We will support this. The government under the current Conservative Coalition shall require workers to work no more than 24 hours per day in most cases. |
Date | 11:54:26, June 05, 2008 CET | From | National Labor Party | To | Debating the Labour Day Act |
Message | Malivia Left supports this proposal, yet hopes that Unions will eventually become more able to support the workers. OOC: Lol, nice one SSD :P |
