Message | Prostitution has been legalised in our nation and as such, we should now begin to give the professionals who carry out this job the recognition that it is, indeed, a proper job. This will mean that restrictions and guidelines will be introduced that it will improve the rights of both customers and workers. This should make the profession safer and more fair for all involved. |

Message | The NLF is appalled at the moral corruption that certain elements of the Dorvik political system seem to instigate. We are totally against this bill. |

Message | Hey, it's already legal, why not make sure that prostitutes are paying their taxes? |

Message | Why not reverse that bill and launch an investigation into it - I'm sure someone had 1 too many drinks the night that bill was passed. |

Message | More taxes :-) |

Message | We are gonna vote no, purely because the BLF believes prostitution should be outlawed full stop. |

Message | Prostitution will always happen in Dorvik, to say otherwise is ridiculous. I'd rather have our police forces fighting crimes that effect other people, and allow regulation of prostitution to prevent the spread of STDs and other problems that are only made worse in areas where prostitution is illegal. |
Date | not recorded | From | To | Debating the The Profession of Prostitution |
Message | Making it an official profession will not magically solve all those problems. Problematic prostitution lies within organised crime and human traffic. Creating an official status for prostitution will not solve the problems of girls brought here against their will to prostitute themselves or to controle pimps that abuse prostitutes. This bill is throwing sand into the public's eye, it has no practical use except to uselessly throw paperwork around. |

Message | But the taxes will provide money for us to combat this problem. Unfortuanatley economy has to be a prime concern, when the economy can be improved and at the same time peoples lives improve and the civil rights of all are improved what other reasoning can you have for voting against this NCP? |

Message | As a political party the NCP seem to be against all form of progression, perhaps you should rename yourselves the stalemate conservitives. |

Random fact: Players who consent to a particular role-play by acknowledging it in their own role-play cannot then disown it or withdraw their consent from it. For example, if player A role-plays the assassination of player B's character, and player B then acknowledges the assassination in a news post, but then backtracks and insists the assassination did not happen, then he will be required under the rules to accept the validity of the assassination role-play. |
