MessageIn the law, we have a concept called laches. If A has a right that they can enforce against B (which could be anything, such as breach of trust, breach of contract, trespass), and A has not enforced that right for a time such that B's position would be inequitably worsened by A enforcing that right, then A is barred from enforcing that right by laches.

Now, the rights of the foetus and rights of the mother have to be balanced. The mother has full rights up to the end of the first trimester, that is, until the non-living embryo becomes a living foetus. After that point, the mother has slept on her rights. She has taken too long in exercising her rights, such that the outcome of any enforcement would make the foetus much worse off than if those rights were exercising earlier on, and by the equitable doctrine of laches, she must be barred from enforcing them against the embryo.

To allow a child to be aborted mere minutes before being born is nothing but murder by another name. We have a fully functioning human being which is allowed to be killed merely because it hasn't proceeding from the mother's womb. That is immoral.
