Message | Then why should we waste time and money on making heterosexuals feel better? There is no reason that a person's sexual orientation should affect their standing in the military, or anywhere else. If they are a good soldier and a good leader, then they should hold a position of authority. There are rules against fraternization, so troops should not feel uncomfortable about being approached by members of their unit. I don't forsee any other problems. |

Message | Well think about it If your in the army and you have shower with an openly gay person, then you would fell unsettled But if you dont know the guys gay, then soldiers wont be worrying about getting ass raped in the showers because as far as they know, theres no gays Also on the field, i would be worried about getting patched up by a homo, cos who knows what he would do to me in my sleep |

Message | Ok, now that really is homophobic. Just because a guy is gay doesnt mean he is going to rape you in your sleep. You need to grow up child. |

Message | Im sorry, but how does not knowing whether someone is gay or not reduce the likelihood of you being raped. Don't be so ridiculous and homophobic! |

Random fact: "Treaty-locking", or ratifiying treaties that completely or nearly completely forbid any proposals to change laws, is not allowed. Amongst other possible sanctions, Moderation reserves the discretion to delete treaties and/or subject parties to a seat reset if this is necessary in order to reverse a treaty-lock situation. |
