Message | Who protects a country more? A strong, united national military? Or a bunch of hicks with toy guns pretending to part of a civilian national service somewhere in the woods? Hmmm, I'd think I'd go with the first one choice. |

Message | The HNP has far more respect for the Hulstrian people than the FAP. We support this initiative. |

Message | OOC: I also think you're confused about what civilian national service is. It's not a militia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Youth_Service |

Message | That only makes my disapproval of this bill stronger. A strong national military can fight, civilian national service can only make brownies. The current policy makes true patriots and futures for Hulstrians, not sissy environmentalists, concerned with the bottom of society other than the greater good. |

Message | Although the HNP is, and always has been, an ardent advocate of a strong national military, we disagree with the FAP's stated position on this matter. We believe that civilian national services should be made available because they are a good alternative for young Hulstrians who do not wish to join the military. We believe that civilian national services will lessen the burden of the government to care for our society's underprivileged and will likely aid in the social mobility of poorer Hulstrians. We would also point out the conflicting positions of the FAP. In a seprate bill (the "Moral Act"), your party espoused a policy of actively removing homosexuals from the national military. However, in this bill, your party is declaring that all Hulstrians should be required to join the military. The HNP is confused on which position the FAP supports. |

Message | Or, sorry, it was Article 3 of the "Reforming Public Service Act". |

Message | We support normal, straight Hulstrians joining the military and thankfully, I believe, there is a vast majority of them. |
