Description[?]:
Whereas, We are still bothered by calling regions nothing more than "regions," implying that they have no political rights of their own (when they do, or representatives would not be apportioned among them), and Whereas, "Prefecture" is going down to defeat as an alternative, and Whereas, We will compromise to "Province" if necessary but would prefer to be different from other nations, We hereby propose the name "Commonwealth" as the name of a region. |
Proposals
Article 1

Old value:: Region

Message | Commonwealth is used as the official term by many states in the USA, including Massachusetts and Virginia. The meaning is a group joined together for the common good. We believe this name to be free of any negative implications. |

Message | Okay, I know the SHP opposes any change in region names, but what is the reason of the NFP? Does the NFP automatically vote against anything we propose now? |

Random fact: It usually takes up to an hour for election results to generate. During this time, the "Next Election" date is put forward a month, which is confusing. Do not worry! In a short time, the election result will generate and the "Next Election" date will then correct itself. |
