Message | OOC: But just to make one more comment here, the symbol of royal Russian Empire was two headed eagle, you can wiki this. Bear is the folk symbol of Russia in general. So if we are transforming from Russia in general to Russia as Empire then we need to keep Orel (eagle). |

Message | OOC: I do know that (it was adopted from the Eastern Roman Empire as a claim to its legacy) but we are not Russia. I think the bear is more appropriate for the international reputation we want to create, a nation to be feared. |

Message | We are somewhat impartial to this proposal - we would not mind the eagle or the bear, but each has its own particular appeal: the eagle is cunning, intelligent, sharp, and majestic, while the bear is strong, mighty, and dominant. It all depends on the image we are trying to send - what are the qualities that our country should represent worldwide? |
