Message | We find it unbelievable that the conservatives would vote to entirely illegalize the killing of any animals, whatsoever, including for food. Are we all to be forced to become vegetarians! Apparently the Socialists (and evidently the Conservatives) have no appreciation for the freedom of choicethis is particularly disturbing coming from the socialists, who think that it's perfectly acceptable to rape animals, but not to eat them to survive. We support the car initiative, but nothing else here. |

Message | CP strongly supports the car initiative. I believe we misinterpret the law on killing animals. We understood this as being walking down your street, pulling out a gun and shooting your neighbour's dog because it doesn't stop barking at night. If slaughtering for the food chain is classified as 'killing', then NPP is perfectly correct. Then however is the problem that humans are animals too. Because the definition is vague, CP will change their vote until this has been cleared up. OOC: Limitation of the game because the laws are not specific enough. This opens a whole can of problems. |

Message | The killing animals law pertains to hunting, not food production. |

Message | DSP, that was my initial thought but because the law is so vague, we don't truly know what it means. |

Message | No, it doesn't say hunting. Hunting is different. This is 'killing animals' |

Date | 11:35:46, June 14, 2008 CET | From | Normand Pluralist Party | To | Debating the DSP.192.2590 |
Message | Killing animals is the same as "killing humans", but applied to all animals. |

Message | I'd agree with NPP on that. |
