Message | Why should others be forced to conform to Christian standards? There is no law here forcing Christians to abort their children. |

Message | "Why should others be forced to conform to Christian standards?" Because Christian standards form the foundation of this nation; Christian ethics and values form the moral fabric through which our society was built, and they should not be abandoned in favour of untested, anarchic philisophical abstractions. We do not believe that the fabric of our society should be willingly and deliberately unravelled, based merely on philisophical abstractions like 'freedom of everyone to do whatever they want'. 'Pluralism' doesn't exist - it's a philisophical superstition. 'Equality' doesn't exist - it's a philisophical superstition. The only thing that does exist is the real, concrete foundations upon which this nation was built - foundations of Christian ethics; good, family values; values that seperate us from the animals. Yet the KLT wants to abandone all of our foundations for reasons unbeknownst to us. We assume that their argument would be something in the vein of 'why not?'. Well, here is why not: because abstract, ideological, philosophical ideals can never be wedged into real, concrete societies. This country has heritage; it has moral roots; it has time-tested values and institutions. It has foundations formed by wise men over whom we do not presume moral superiority. The KLT spits in the face of their fore-fathers with this legislation, essentially saying "you were wrong - we have a new way of doing things that we believe is better than you, because you were wrong with your morals, and we are right with ours". If the KLT and the TF want to reduce this country to an anarchic, chaotic, barren wasteland of immorality, and reduce our stable, civilized society to a mere jungle, then we suggest they maintain this direction. If not, perhaps they should stop proposing abstract rubbish that has no foundation in our culture, heritage, or tradition, and start looking to the moral wisdoms of our forefathers for guidance. |
