Whereas current forms of energy production are given preference over other; Whereas we feel that the government should not give preferences concerning the production of energy; Whereas we feel that subsidies put an unneeded burden upon the free market; Whereas energy companies should not expect money from the government; Resolves that the following measures be put in place. ADDENDUM I The Federal Government of Rutania can still give out grants for scientific research into alternate forms of energy production, however the government cannot subsidise or provide funding to a corporation in order to effect the internal decisions of a corporation. ADDENDUM II The state governments may continue to provide subsidies and incentives at the behest of the state governments. The federal government does encourage state governments to align their positions with that of the federal government. |
