Message | We find it absurd to have a corporation tax higher than the private income tax (4%), as this would discourage people from creating corporations. Thus, we will vote on the negative. |
Date | 15:38:14, June 16, 2008 CET | From | Cildanian Workers Coalition | To | Debating the Taxes for corporations profits |
Message | We have raised the tax to 3% through consensus. We think it is absurd that we now want to raise it to 6% without that consensus. We vote no accordingly |

Message | If we are lucky and the JLoC overlook this bill, then it can be passed, if the CWC would support it. Yes, you donīt have the consensus that you had in your bill, but politics is not always about consensuses, it is also about fighting for your politics, and as a socialist party then you must agree, that 3% is too low. |

Message | Trying to pass a bill through the absenteeism of some (40%) of the Senators is, though completely legal, not exactly within our concept of the ideal democracy. However, stating such intentions aloud in here cries of disrespect for this Senate. There are _private messages_ for such conspiracies. |

Random fact: Did you know you can change the official name of your nation? All you need to do is draw up a new name that is in accordance with the Nation Renaming Guide, pass a bill proposing the name change with a two-thirds majority and then post a request to Moderation on the "Renaming Requests" thread. You can change city and region names in this way too. |
