Submitted by[?]: Revival Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: November 2116

Given that we are faced with a facist area we suggest that we allow ourselves the capacity to develop the technology related to chemical weapons for civilian reasons. In this way should we be attacked we'll be able to help our citizens otherwise they would be helpless.

MessageWhile the intent is good, doesn't this add too much tension to the parody of peace talks we are having with Deltaria?

MessageTo be honest we feel that the peace talks are not likely to add a serious and long lasting security to the area. This is for purely defensive reasons and without it we leave ourselves open to attack from a dangerous enemy.

I consider this to be a compromise between adopting an aggressive military posture and leaving ourselves open for all to harm our citizens.

MessageI think you may have a point. To defend we need to understand, and the understand we need to research.

Random fact: There are two countries based on Egypt in the game. Cobura is based on modern Egypt with a retro twist, while Hawu Mumenhes is based on Ancient Egypt with a modernist twist.

Random quote: "Up against the corporate government, voters find themselves asked to choose between look-alike candidates from two parties vying to see who takes the marching orders from their campaign paymasters and their future employers. The money of vested interest nullifies genuine voter choice and trust." - Ralph Nader
