Message | That's a bit harsh and certainly a massive inhibition on civil liberties. The key is regulation and education rather than outright interdiction. |

Message | Prohibiting Alchol will just make the people you want to protect more and more vulnerable. Alcohol will be illegally distilled and will be harmful for the health of the consumers. Prohibitionism just help organized crime. |

Message | This is not the case where the law is implemented effectively. We are aware that some countries are unable to carry out these laws without creating a criminal underclass but others have implemented this law very effectively. Would I have support for devolving this into local government? In this way we'll allow those areas that are more conservative to outlaw aspects they want without harming the economies of those places that need it? |

Message | We've changed it so that the gambling is left to local governments and that alcohol is banned, do we have support for this? |

Message | No. People will continue to drink alcohol. Firstly, there will be mass panic buying of alcohol and when those supplies run out people will begin to be illegally distilled, as has been mentioned above. With regulations placed on the alcohol trade, we can ensure that we know just what is being sold and drunk. And we can also tax it. |

Message | I utterly disagree but would the bill have support if the alcohol proposal was struck off to be dealt with at a later date? |

Message | We are saddened that you'd put petty party politics before looking after the people you claim to represent. |
