Bill: Official Titles Reform Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: National Labor Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: August 2593

Description[?]:

Upon reconsidering Malivia Left's stance on several issues, we have decided that tradition and culture are important in the society of Malivia. We regret our previous stance on certain issues, with the most important being that of titles of Head of Government and Head of State. That being said, we propose that these titles revert back to how they were initially, being Maharaja and Ouparath. We maintain our belief that religion should not be a part of a political system, which is why we are simply proposing Maharaja to replace President.

MessageWe greatly thank the Leftists for their reconsideration.

When this passes we shall work with the Gerajan religious leaders to change their title of religious leader from Maharaja to another name, so as to maintain the current seperation between church and state.
