The AAP would like to reintroduce the idea of renaming the chief seat of the Senate. Message | We still consider Advocate to be a poor name for our HoG, and out of the two prefer the current one. |
Date | 22:44:50, September 24, 2005 CET | From | Commonwealth Workers Army | To | Debating the Anarch Anakrousite Reform Bill - "Names of Power" (iii) |
Message | The AAP thought perhaps the 'First' in "First Advocate" might satisfy the Conservative need to glorify the position, while the 'Advocate' part would satisfy AAP interests in making the position TRANSPARENT as a representative office. |

Message | The LPE are once again in support of a change. In fact current consul, Una Uggle, is encouraging her secretaries to start calling her 'Advocate' right away. |

Message | The AAP is gratified by LPE support and consideration. The former 'consul' (Anakah Anakrousis) referred to himself on the international stage, as the 'acting-Consul', and 'Advocate'. |

Message | The AAP is gratified by CNP participation in the debate, but has no idea how the Head of State title has any impact on the Head of Government Bill we are proposing. Does this mean the CNP supports the alteration of the Head of Government title? |

Message | Again, the RWLP votes against something with no debate, and no commentary offered. One wonders how one can achieve any semblence of diplomacy, if there is never any communication. Ah well, it's unlikely there are going to be another 80 votes cast, either way, in the next month - so it all becomes academic. |

Random fact: By default the head of government is the ultimate authority within a national government. In general terms, heads of government are expected to consult with cabinet colleagues (including those from other parties) before making significant decisions but they remain responsible for government action. |
