| Message | I don't believe it's so simple, even "good, law-abiding citizens" can snap and use a gun unnecessarily if the temptation is there in the form of an actual firearm, not to mention accidental shooting incidents. |

| Message | Your argument ECP, is somewhat similar to the "they do it anyway, so we may as well make it legal" attitude. A ridiculous idea and one which in this situation is not in the best interests of the people. I believe if the government do something, they should do it right. Meaning, in this situation this law should be properly enforced, by extensively monitoring the flow of arms into the country and by cracking down on any "black market" activities that begin to emerge. I also believe in a tough sentence for those convicted of gun crime or for those caught possessing fire arms. |

| Message | Sometimes you have an uncanny knack for oversimplification Chidan. In fact, ECP's argument is more like this: "They do it anyway, better that law abiding citizens have access to firearms so they can protect themselves against those who would acquire guns anyway, and better that most gun sales are done through appropriate and regulated channels." Your law is incredibly short-sighted. All it does is take away the capability of the innocent to protect themselves, and give a monopoly of power to those who are likely to weild that power for socially undesirable ends. |

| Message | People should not feel the need to arm themselves for their own protection. Guns are tools of murder. They have no place in the home. Allowing every citizen to arm themselves on the chance that they might come face to face with the very small minority of those who do use fire-arms is not the solution. We also believe that by repealing gun laws it will make it easier to track criminals who engage in other illegal activites such as drug dealers |
