Bill: Minimum Wage Reform: Retaining Fairness
Details
Submitted by[?]: Liberale Partij (L)
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: December 2596
Description[?]:
The ALP won't propose to abolish the minimum wage again, but in light of spending priorities it would be fair to review the current system. We feel that it is overly generous, especially considering how few people actually have to support families on a minimum wage. This proposal will still support everyone in this country. Especially if both parents work. |
