MessageMr Speaker,

We'd prefer to see an outright ban on these witches potions, but consider this naming and shaming exercise to be the next best thing.

MessageMr Speaker,

This legislation will liberalise pesticide use, removing any government control over what kind of pesticides farmers can use. Human health may be endangered.

MessageMr Speaker,

On the contrary: we believe that this will give consumers – wives and mothers – the opportunity to buy food produce that is free from these witches potions. This is an opportunity that can be denied to them under the current legislation.

MessageOOC: The legislative option strike me as a little confusing here. I'm presuming "The government approves and regulates agricultural chemical use" means "The government determines which chemicals farmers can use and which ones they can't" whereas "Farmers are required to list chemicals used on their crops" means "Farmers can use whatever chemicals they want so long as they list them". I'm also presuming the issue over how food is labelled is dealt with in a separate legislative issue titled "Listing of controversial ingredients (if food labelling is applied)".
