Bill: Clarification of current smoking laws
Details
Submitted by[?]: Aloria United
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: August 2116
Description[?]:
The Aloria United would like to seek clarification from the current body of parties. For the current policy of: "Smoking is allowed in public locations; cigarettes may only be purchased by adults." What does this imply? When we read it, we perceived it to mean that smoking is legitimate within public buildings, like hospitals, council chambers, and libraries - these are all public locations, are they not? Vote 'Yes' for this interpretation, or 'No' if you disagree with it. If 'No' wins, we expect a major party that votes 'No' to resubmit this issue to a new vote, with their interpretation. |
