Bill: Domestic Protection Innovation Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Federal Republican Party (ZC)
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: September 2597
Description[?]:
By allowing private security firms to sub-contract out for the civilian police force we not only increase jobs, economic growth, competition and as a result of the latter a much more effective and efficient force that can protect our citizens. The local governments aren't competent enough to run effective police forces and the federal government shouldn't be involved in the matter. We present this before the Directorate for consideration. |

Message | While the citizens of Zardugal are split on this issue, the majority of Populist Party members would, in fact, prefer that security management be subcontracted. Furthermore, more Zardic citizens prefer this method over any other. While the Populist Party typically favors that matters be left in the hand of local governments, we are willing to forego that stance on this particular issue in favor of increased jobs, economic growth, and a more efficient police force. We urge all other parties to support this legislation. Steven Lennox, Chairman, Populist Party |
