MessageThe only issue we have with this bill are Articles 4 and 5.

Those would be the Food Safety Policy, and the Energy Regulation...

We would prefer that federal baselines be established in these two categories, ensuring a minimum level of cooperation between local governments. Other than this, we believe that the rest of the bill puts the power of government closer in line with the people's wishes, as they have more direct control in local government...

We support.

MessageCP supports the drug and smoking articles.
CP is borderline on shelter and wild pets.
CP disagrees with mayors, health and safety, food safety, abortion and working hours.

More against than for, we can't support.

MessageAs we knew for certain that the IMF and DSP would oppose this bill, and therefore that it would automatically fail, we decided not to trim it down, as it covers generally the same topic with every article.

Random fact: In cases where a party has no seat, the default presumption should be that the party is able to contribute to debates in the legislature due to one of its members winning a seat at a by-election. However, players may collectively improvise arrangements of their own to provide a satisfying explanation for how parties with no seats in the legislature can speak and vote there.
