| Message | Article 1: As it stands we are allowed to use nuclear weapons if we need them (i.e. victory is not feasible). Under the proposal we will only be able to use them if we are the ones attacked, it will take away our right to use them aggresively (still covered under "victory") Article 2: We probably won't need Chem and Bio unless they are used on us first, and it isn't worth taking away our right to use them on civilian areas. If we have to keep worrying about whether or not a certain target is "civilian" we will NEVER get to use Chem and Bio weapons, because just about every conceivable target is in some way or potentially "civilian". That's my reasoning. I would prefer it if we were just allowed to use them for any reason we please. |
