Bill: DSP.205.2598

Details

Submitted by[?]: 帝国公明党 (Teikoku Kōmeitō)

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: December 2598

Description[?]:

Corporations are perhaps the most vile creations of capitalism, organizations that prey on the weak and nature just to make a profit that only a few executives will ever see.
Therefore it is in our opinion that corporations should be paying a significantly higher percentage to the societies that they abuse.

MessageCP's understand of 'corporation' is any company that is incorporated. Any increase in taxes results in loss of jobs, loss of revenue to reinvest. This is bad for the economy.

Government does not get much from corporations. At 25% tax, the government takes 11 billion SEK. Since the tax is already too high and it provides little change except force company to close shop, this is a ridiculous proposal from the DSP.

CP strongly opposes.

MessageWe fully agree with the Conservative Party. Attacking corporations without providing any sort of alternative to corporations is insufficient.

Raising taxes to increase income for the elite government officials under a guise of taking that money from "evil" corporations seems a bit counter-intuitive. Wouldn't it make more sense to drop all tax to 0% for individuals and corporations?

(That's rhetorical, we don't support that either...)

Random fact: Don't vote yes on a cabinet coalition that doesn't give you the power that you deserve.

Random quote: "A proof is a proof. What kind of a proof? It's a proof. A proof is a proof. And when you have a good proof, it's because it's proven." - Jean Chretien (describing the level of proof about weapons of mass destruction that Canada required to join the Iraq War)
