Bill: Police Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: National Movement for Civic Democracy
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: July 2599
Description[?]:
As previously proposed, we believe that the military should not be restricted from helping the police whenever it would help. The police and the military have different jobs, which require different weapons. A police officer should have something light and carriable. Soldiers will need high powered automatic weapons. |

Message | We can support Article 2, but unfortunately not Article 1 - whilst the military should be called in for serious emergencies, their role is very different to that of the police, and there should not be a blurred line between the two. |
