Message | Why? 201, 601, 6000001, its all the same! What makes different is the % of the party, not number of seats in parliament... |

Message | Thing is, the problem with inflating the number of seats means that a party with 20% of the seats can have more seats than another party with 20% of the seats, and the only difference being perhaps a couple thousand votes. Is that really democratic? Nope! |

Message | And a Republic =/= democracy. There is a set standard of representation. |
Date | 16:43:11, September 26, 2005 CET | From | Libertarian party of Darnussia | To | Debating the Representation Act |
Message | Thing is when 1 person has 5,000,000 votes and the other 5,500,000 which is a high number (10 times my home-town) there wont be much difference. And it is democratic... whats undemocratic about representation untill the thousands! it can happen now too that a party gets more seats then the other with just 1000's of votes in between! |

Random fact: It usually takes up to an hour for election results to generate. During this time, the "Next Election" date is put forward a month, which is confusing. Do not worry! In a short time, the election result will generate and the "Next Election" date will then correct itself. |
