Message | You guys are in need of some brains. People can't be educated(or, more accurately, indoctrinated) in public schools all the way until they are adults. Children need time to be children and experience the wonders of the world, not a forced detention in dull, drab, gray rooms. Not to mention, lots of kids just don't do well in a compulsory schooling environment. Most children are near equally smart, but they just learn in different ways. School teaches in one. Now keep kids all the way to the age of EIGHTEEN in schools? This is unlibertarian, anti-freedom, and just wrong. How would you like it if someone forced you at threat of force to go to a public institution? Much less the brainwashing institution of public school! Especially at the age of 16. 16 year olds are practically adults, if not adults. It's society that holds them back and makes them children. Free our children, don't let these public school fanatics force more then they already have on them. (OOC) I actually have a really strong opinion, as voiced here, against public schools. I personally believe that all men are CREATED equal, and as such everyone from a small kid to an adult should have equal rights. Yeah... I currently don't have a dedicated internet connection(thank my parents) to get back into being an active political party, but I had to voice my opinion on this. It just seems that it is an injustice all to often perpetrated by our governments on children. And it starts so young they just think school is natural. It isn't. All our kids have been brainwashed. The fact so many parties support this measure shows it, all the players are probably in(or have been in) a school that they had to go to. Now, if someone who never went to school a day in their life supported compulsory(FORCED, F-O-R-C-E-D FORCED) education I might respect, though not agree with, their opinion. The fact is that so many people have their basic opinion formed by the state in public schools. Things like: Obey the government, pay taxes, etc. are so ingrained in our mind we wouldn't think of questioning them. WE should question everything, including school. And it is from this question I have come to the conclusion public schools are inadequate. But hey, the people in this game are just bits and pieces of information. I feel kind of silly getting riled up about this in a game! XD! Good luck to the MLP.(/OOC) |
