Message | We really need this much? For example 400.000 tanks would need 1.2 million -1.6 million people to crew them all, depending on if they need 3 or 4 crews. This just seems like too much |
Date | 01:01:08, June 30, 2008 CET | From | The Liberal Party | To | Debating the Army Contract |
Message | If we count the reserves, then it is OK to have that many. Don't you count with the fact that in a war some might get destroyed and will need replacement. The ones we are not going to be using are going to be stored until we need to replace the ones we are using. It is better to have more than not to have enough. |

Message | yeah but there has not been published any military (non political) estimates of what is needed, so the parliament will vote on it uninformed |
Date | 02:37:47, June 30, 2008 CET | From | The Liberal Party | To | Debating the Army Contract |
Message | When this contract was being worked on, the Defense Ministry was asked of all the necessities our Army had. They were also asked for all possible suggestions they had. Official numbers haven't been released but this our best estimate of what is needed for a complete renovation of the Army. |

Message | I just said that it is not completely uninformed. When this was being arranged, the needs of our Army was the priority. Besides, what is the point of buildin all of this if it is not necessary? |

Message | The SCP is willing to support this expansion of our Armed Forces, so as long as plans are developed for an end to Private Industry in military matters and a single State Control Military Industrial Complex is established. |
Date | 23:23:27, June 30, 2008 CET | From | The Liberal Party | To | Debating the Army Contract |
Message | I appreciate your support but this has nothing to do with changing the laws. Changing the laws has to be done through another process. The company offering the best price will get the contracts, that's how it works. |

Random fact: Moderation will not accept Cultural Protocol updates which introduce, on a significant scale, cultures which are likely to be insufficiently accessible to players. In particular, for all significant cultures in Particracy, it should be easy for players to access and use online resources to assist with language translation and the generation of character names. Moderation reserves the right to amend Cultural Protocols which are deemed to have introduced significant cultures that are not sufficiently accessible and which are not being actively role-played with. |
