Bill: School Prayer Restriction Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Sojuz Ljudej (People's Union)
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: February 2117
Description[?]:
We feel thatr currently having teacher-led prayers in non-religious schools is contrary to the spirit of religious freedom. We feel that such a thing will unfairly single out non-religious students and students not of the same religion as the teacher. We respect prayer, when done privately, but the current law should be changed. |
