((NPP, our state recently legalized table games. We're already being nicknamed "Vegas of the East". :\))

MessageOOC: Most of our gambling in Quebec is state-owned. Which means you can't win big. But it does bring down our taxes every year. Funny how there is a little section in our provincial budget that relates to gambling. I think they call 'entertainment revenue'. Sounds better. =)

SIP, you are in Atlantic City? I was there. It's like Vegas but cozy. And one fewer Eiffel Tower. =D

MessageOOC: Agreed with NPP, on both counts. Besides, without any regulation, it's asking for Mafias to start coming out of the woodwork.

MessageAFFS, but this is left to legal government. What about those that have no regulation anyway? The law seems to have worked in those areas.

Message((West Virginia, actually. Several counties just passed laws legalizing table games. A couple of venues have already begun remodeling for table games, others already have them in. You know, the irony is that all the extra taxes the table games are bringing in, are going back into the public works to allow for more police to control the expected rise in crime...))

MessageOOC: Casinos are hell-holes for crime. I can't bear to be in the Las Vegas Airport, let alone on the Strip or the streets. It's abominable.
