Bill: Gun Ownership Reform Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Populist Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: June 2600
Description[?]:
Currently, individuals are allowed to own firearms as long as they have no history of dangerous mental illness or a violent criminality. The Populist Party believes that this is a solid foundation for gun control, however, we feel that licensing conditions should be slightly more strict. Recent research performed by the Populist Party has shown that a plurality of the Zardic people (22.85%) favor strict license conditions for gun ownership. This option has more support than any other, including the current law. I urge my fellow legislators to join us in making Zardugal a safer place. Steven Lennox, Chairman, Populist Party |
