Current: All adults upon completion of schooling must serve either a term in the military or a lesser paid term of civilian national service, at their option.

Message | Unfortunately we must vote against our good conservative allies in this case, as the Reform Party is strongly opposed to mandatory military service and conscription of any sort, and we would also prefer that the responsibility of building shelters be left to local governments as it is in the status quo. Though we are not altogether opposed to the idea of article 1. We must regrettably vote against this legislation. |
