Bill: ECONOMY/EDUCATION-MORALITY/SAFETY BILL

Details

Submitted by[?]: FRP (Fascist Revolution Party)

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: October 2600

Description[?]:

The FRP is an ambitious party; in this Bill we demand:
1) Economic measures:
-we want a State monopoly on the banking-system
-the tax percentage of the great capitalists should be raised to 50%

2) Educational measures:
- Racial segregation must become the norm in our educational system
- All schools ought to be religious in nature

3) Morality measures:
-women should stay at home

4) Police reforms:
-torture must be allowed

5) Conclusion:

We want to tax the capital, thus providing enough money for the poor and for the hard-working mothers. The nationalisation of the banking system will give the State a tight control on the economy, making the measures possible. Racial segregation and religious zeal gives our nation the backbone in order to raise future generations with Dorvikian values, some of them (e.g. the battle against capital) reflected in this Bill. Our antiquated system, finally, still prohibiting torture needs to be reformed, in order to protect our state from subversive elements who are against proposed reforms.

Random fact: Players have a responsibility to differentiate between OOC (out-of-character) and IC (in-character) behaviour, and to make clear when they are communicating in OOC or IC terms. Since Particracy is a role-playing game, IC excesses are generally fine, but OOC attacks are not. However, players must not presume this convention permits them to harass a player with IC remarks that have a clear OOC context.
