Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 2601

Description[?]:

Peter Jenz, Party Leader in Congress:

"Mr. Speaker, dear members of National Congress!

Our country has got a voluntary public pension system for numbers of years- this system has been introduced by RRDF/RDF government. After years of analysis, we concluded that the private initiative is welcomed in this area, and that the state cannot effectively provide all benefits of good pension system. We concluded that it is time to give private system a chance: we already have very good private pension funds. Commonwealth gives up the public pension fund, but introduces compulsory pension savings in private funds- we want welfare for all our retired persons."

MessageWe support a complusary public pension, and also a compulsary pension from employers to augment this. We do not support a purely private system and will be voting against this. indeed, this proposal seems to be a worse proposition than the current situation.
