This bill aims to give the local government the authority to regulate all registered businesses to let their workers work on a specific number of hours. For whole-day jobs, the number of working hours shall be 10 hours at maximum. For half-day jobs, the number of working hours shall be 5 hours at maximum. Exemptions will be given on a case-to-case basis. This is to ensure that no employer gives his/her employees too much working time. |
