Bill: Trade Unions and Individual Rights Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: People's Progressive Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 2117

Description[?]:

The PPP is a social democratic party and we strongly value trade unions. However, we are also a utilitarian party, and we do not support the forcing of unions upon workers who wish to not be associated to a union. If workers want to act on their own, it must be their choice. Socialism is not socialism if it is forced upon the people.

MessageThat means (as wallmart does) that members of trade unions have less chance for a job and that the workers will become less consious of what is happening.

MessageWith the use of democratic workers councils, there will be less need for trade unions whilst things are sorted on the council table, not on the picket line. This means that workers have the choice to opt out of a union. FORCING SOCIALISM ON PEOPLE HAS DISASTROUS CONSEQUENCES! They must be convinced to join, not co-oerced through job prospects. We are Darnussia, not a Stalinist state.

MessageThis isnt going to deny them a job, it just means they can CHOOSE whether or not they join a union. Why is personal choice an idea opposed so vehemently by the far left? We saw what happened last time we forgot choice....its called the USSR...

MessageYes...It did tremendously well under the murdering butcher Stalin who established a regime of state capitalism and then locked up and shot every trade unionist. Great and shining example to all of socialism... I think not.

Messagehahahaha... if you ifnorm yourself as one sidedly as you seem to do he was a big evil murderer who killed 1/3rth of it's population (i even heard someone claim 200 million which is 35 million more then the Soviet population...). While listening to Russian people who lived back then i even heard a woman denying the gulags! If 1/3rth of the nation would have been butchered by the evil stalin then why hasn't this woman noticed? For about everything on this subject read: another view on stalin by Ludo Martens

MessageThe fact you just denied Stalin was a butcher not only shows how Stalinist you are, but also shows what a flawed and totally politically motivated view you take on world history.

The woman denied the gulags because of censorship, for christ sake, the secret police even exterminated ITSELF! Stalin himself wrote off millions of people and ordered more to be killed, he didnt order the killings, yet he readily authorised millions!
Not only this, Stalin destroyed all religious freedom, trade unionism and true socialism. Stalin changed Lenin's socialist motto to "each according to his work"-Not exactly a marxist idea. He made abortion illegal, decreased women's rights and tried to launch a pogrom against the Jews. Give me a Tsar any day!

MessageSo if you live in a country and 1/3rth of the country just 'disapears' and nobody notices?
A man who traveled through Russia after Stalin's dead was surprised (while kruchev's anti-Stalin report was out) how phew people were opposed to Stalin.

I already gave you a link to the book: READ IT!
FOR CHRIST SAKE!
ISBN 2872620575.
Stalin didn't destroy religious freedom, read the constitution of the USSR!
The catholic churhc claimed he did, yes!
First they claimed he burned all churches then they claimed he hung all priests in they're churches (weren't they burned 2 years before? :O) And now you see a lot of beautifull churches in russia! Decreased woman rights? WTF you'r just making up things or what? He made abortion illegal in ukraine once beceause the population was decreasing at a too high rate! Thats not him who did it but the ukraenian soviet! You think he was uber-powerfull or what? etc... etc... how flawed your comments on Stalin are doesn't surprise me though you probably like the lozers from http://www.revolutionaryleft.com jippy new friends for you!

MessageI am not denying people died under stalin, i denied he's an evil mass-murderer...
I do not take a politically motivated view on world history if i did i wouldn't have ended up being commie now would i?

He authorized only... lets see (well not him but the party but still you'll blame him so i'll say him for the sake of it...) i know which executions he authorized but those numbers dont even go above 500,000... The 2,2 million that died in the gulags well those died of famine during 2 special periods one was the period after the collectivization when the kulakken started burning and pilaging beceause of the collectivization the second was world war 2 when people in the netherlands ate parts of flowers to stay alive... so your point? ohw btw during ww2 only 56 out of 1000 gulag prisoners died. It were prisons people were allowed to go out it were not extermination camps. (go out when they sat there for as long as they should)
Wait why am i proving my point... you prove your point! prove your so called 'facts'.
