Message | Indeed just as the kingdoms name should be 'Royaume Rildanorien' |

Message | Somebody told me in the past that it should be feminine in that case, so Royaume Rildanorienne would be right. Anybody else have any opinions about this? |

Message | This is indeed correct. However as soon as the next Reine is installed, it goes back to the feminine. |

Message | Look it is either Royaume de Rildanor or Royaume Rildanorien in wich case Rildanorien is the adjective which follows the gender of Royaume thus male. However it is Republique Rildanorienne because again it follows as an adjective the gender of Republique wich is female. And what the AT sais is wrong in no case does the title change with Reine it remains Reine des Rildanoriens because there it is not an adjective but a noun in itself God I never realized French is this complicated ;-P Now it changes now it does not like being in school all over again |

Message | Royaume is masculine? Why is it different from Republique? |

Message | I am sure there is a very interesting etymological or historical answer to that question but I don t have it all I know is that for example you have Le royaume danois Le royaume anglais but La republique irlandaise La republique allemande If you doubt just go to an on-line dictionary or something and I suppose that would give you certainty, oh ye of little faith lol |
