MessageOn second thoughts, while we like the newly designed flag, the old one represents an irreplaceable symbol of our nation's heritage. It's a cultural institution - a traditional embodiment of the values our country stands for and an integral part of our history. We are not sure if we would ever want to change the flag, even if the new flag is better. We certainly like the cross in the new flag, as it is a symbol of good faith, but even so, we are not sure that we want to deny our roots by changing the flag.
We are undecided on this issue, so for now we will abstain and see how other parties feel about this.

Random fact: By default the head of government is the ultimate authority within a national government. In general terms, heads of government are expected to consult with cabinet colleagues (including those from other parties) before making significant decisions but they remain responsible for government action.
