Bill: State Militias and the Right to Bear Arms Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: National Movement for Civic Democracy

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 2603

Description[?]:

If the following are enacted many things will be accomplished.

The Crime Rate will go down. If criminals know that every house and every person is armed, they will be much less likely to commit a crime.

In terms of military, we will get a less for more deal. We will be able to spend less on the national military becuase citizens will be able to form their own militias. If a neighboring country were to invade, the people could protect the nation rather than the nation protecting the people.

MessageWe are against mandatory gun ownership as a federal law. However, if possible, we would leave it up to the local governments to decide on this.

MessageThat is. Whether or not guns are mandatory. We are strongly against form of gun control being anywhere in the country. And believe every citizen in Dranland should the Right to Bear Arms, its is probably the second most or maybe even the most important right of a free state.

MessageSimilar to the TCP, we do not support mandatory gun-ownership, though we feel that all law-abiding adults with no history of mental illness should have the right to purchase and keep a firearm if they see fit. We will have to oppose for this reason.
