Bill: Emergency-Only Abortions Act of 2603

Details

Submitted by[?]: Genuine Progress Alliance

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: February 2604

Description[?]:

This bill aims to make abortion illegal and only permissible under medical emergencies. Through this bill, we aim to respect each individual's right to life and liberty.

On a scientific note, one must understand that life begins at conception. The late professor and world renowned geneticist Dr. Jerome Lejeune confirmed this by saying "Life is present from the moment of conception." (See http://www.etters.net/fetal.development2.htm )

If we truly believe in liberty, then we should ban non-emergency abortions if we want to respect the right of the newly-formed life to be free and to enjoy liberty in this world.

Random fact: Players consent to the reasonable and predictable consequences of the role-play they consent to. For example, players who role-play their characters as committing criminal offences should expect those characters to experience the predictable judicial consequences of that.
