Message | OOC: This is quite interesting as it relates to why there is no beltway around Montreal, Canada. Because the government can not 'force' through monetary means for the people of those lands to relocate, all traffic from southern Quebec to northern or eastern Quebec have to travelled through the city of Montreal. One heck of a mess. It really sucks getting stuck in traffic on a 10-lane autoroute at 2 a.m. Lots of pollution because of traffic too, if you want to look at the environmental effect. That is what I would consider a 'vital' government project. The government have been negotiating since before 1967 and still no break through. Althought this problem is not related to Sekowo, still one reason why this law is good. |
