Bill: Education Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Progressive Patriot's Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: August 2604

Description[?]:

There is a huge budget surplus, which must be used for the betterment of its people. An important part of society in instilling a healthy, strong education in its citizens, and using this education to teach not only things necessary for survival in the workforce, but national values and duties each child must have. We cannot let our sense of community continue to shrivel in the name of privatization - soon there will be no Dranland, only corporations. This is completely unsatisfactory.

This bill, if passed, will increase regulation of the private education system, while create the foundation for establishing a national public education system. This country currently only lets private schools exist if they have a specific purpose - a specific leaning. This is unacceptable. All children have the right to recieve an impartial, unbiased education.

The people have a civic duty to the government, but the government too has a duty to its people. Education is here - we cannot allow religious fanatics or corporate dogs to educate our children. It is damaging not only to them, but to our own long-term national security.

MessageThis bill maintains the existence of private education. All it does is give people the freedom to not go to a private institution, and be indoctrinated in something they may not believe in.
