MessageThis is just a temporary measure that will be used until we can decide the permanent taxation idea.

MessageThe current government has no ability to defend or provide for its people. Rather than give money away, we must look at ways to spend it in a constructive manner. The military requires improvement, though the Dominionists clearly do not care about the safety of our people in the face of modern threats. We oppose this measure until a permanent solution is reached - one that takes into account new spending, and future tax laws.

MessageLook, We've been through this with some of the more libertarian parties of the nation, and they are against income tax all together. We do believe that we should spend the remaining surplus on defense, but we also recognize that big government can only be bad for the people.

Also, It was this party that first introduced the 10% flat tax. Before that, it used to be a 6% sales tax only. This is a middle ground we have taken until we can decide what form a taxation the government will use.

MessageOur goal is to keep government spending at 5% of the national GDP, higher in war time. We are flexible on what form of taxation this will be, but until all of the parties come to a conclusion, this is what we got.

MessageThe PPP will endorse these tax cuts, though as non-voting members we cannot do much. All we ask is for the Dominionist Party to return the favor, and endorse spending the rest of the surplus on the military modernisation plan promoted by the PPP.

MessageWe support cutting the tax in half, though we of course further support ridding ourselves completely of the tax.
Our position is still one of refusal; not one cent will be stolen from us.
