Bill: Caps on Civil Lawsuits

Voting deadline: January 2605
Description[?]:
All caps on civil lawsuits do is protect big companies. Small companies remain at risk of being forced out of business but large companies can look at their accounts and compare the possible cost of a lawsuit against the cost of actually fixing a dangerous product. They will go with the cheaper route even if it means people will die. Why would we allow this? |
