Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Description[?]:

Otto Millner, Minister of Education and Culture:

"Mr. Speaker, Members of National Congress!
With this proposal we give more possibility for local governments to design its own educational policy concerning their needs, and to have much more autonomy in this area, what we support, as a moderately federalist party. There are also national requirements, so this proposal will not reduce the quality of our educational system."

MessageWe much prefer the current system, the LCP has not any faith in standardised testing even at local levels.

MessageThe LCP favours practical experience over standardised and ranks based learning which encourages rote learning over all else. Practical experience and thus testing by professionals in the student's chosen career fields would instead ensure students are learning what they have chosen, in an easy and enjoyable environment, avoiding the unnecessary stress that is the senior High School Years in the RNCSE (Rutanian National Certificate of Secondary Education). We rather practical education as it provides students with the ability and proper aptitude to enter the workforce most productively.
