Message | "This Act is a sin and shameful to our glorious nation. The legislation regarding the nation flag is essential for preserving our national culture and heritage. We must all band together in protecting our flag and honouring it's value as a symbol of the peace. Our party also does not see a problem in promoting our population and encouraging it to grow. The parties of the Solentian Senate must do our part to promote the Solentian people to continue their legacies to keep the great Solentian families and create a legacy. We also value our moral standards above all else, television is no place for sexual images, significantly on media that can be used an accessed by children." -Shadow Secretary of State for Internal Affairs: Isabella Fernando |
Date | 19:02:54, July 18, 2008 CET | From | Solentian People Party | To | Debating the Civil Liberties Bill of 2607 |
Message | We have supported this bill largely because many of our other nations in Terra have the policy of no control over population growth and this has led to some economic benefits and growth in the economy within in their countries, we also feel article 1 proposes a more free democratic choice for the people to have their say about our country and of course we can understand other parties feeling a bit reserved about these changes, we beleive if we want to have some democracy and free speech we have to let these changes pass through. Baroness Pamela Cook, Acting Leader of the Solentian People Party |
